Pax's First Biter Biscuit

I know, I know. I start things too late. I forget and get in the same rhythm and I don't add new things when I should! Pax should have started on these little thingies a long time ago. But, he loved them!

Bennett really wanted one, too, but I told him it was baby food. Bennett knows NOT to ask for baby food. He asked me one time for some baby sweet potatoes, I gave him a bite and he gagged!

Pax is a sweet little boy! He has such a pleasant spirit and unconditional love toward his brother even when he gets rough treatment from him!

Look at that sweet little face! :) I love that kid!

Bennett and Pax Photo Booth

I was gone overnight this weekend at a conference in Dallas, so Phil was left with Daddy Duty on Saturday! He really had a great time with the boys (minus the PukeFest 2010), and took lots of pics (including some of PukeFest 2010 that I will NOT post.)

But some that I will post are below. Notice that Phil got both boys dressed (cutely, too, I might add), and he also fixed their hair with gel. But please do NOT notice my refrigerator which is covered in coupons and friends' Christmas cards (don't judge, I like to show off that I have friends. Ha!)

Both boys cracking a grin...

Bennett silly face #2/Pax chillin'

Bennett "hugging" his brother/Pax a little cautious

Bennett "patting" his brother/Pax waiting for it to be over

Wow. Total face pull off. Where was the Dad?? Oh yeah. Taking pictures.

My poor baby!

Sunday morning before church ... matching shirts

I know. I'm a nerd. SOMETIMES I like to dress my kids in matching outfits. Phil thinks it's silly. I don't care.

I just think it's so cute to see my 2 boys look alike!

Maybe it's because that's really the only thing that makes them look alike...

We snapped some pics of the boys before church last Sunday morning

Before having 2 kids, I NEVER would have dressed Bennett in his church clothes before eating breakfast...

...but now, it just makes thing go faster, and I'm less concerned about things like that now! When you have more than 1, things change! Now it's just about getting out the door the quickest way possible!

I love it when Bennett loves his brother!

And when they both smile for a picture!

And I don't know why, but I think feet pics are the best!

Glued to the Tube

I give in once a day to Bennett watching a show on TV. Usually he wants to watch "No-waah" (Baby Einstein Noah's Ark) or "Paze Baby" (Praise Baby) or "Dohn-nald" (Old MacDonald's Farm).

And once it's on, you can count on a no-response for the entire time it's on.

But, it's a good time to snap some pictures! ;)

By the way, that rocking chair was recently given back to me by my parents. They gave it to me on my 1st birthday! It's so cool to have it now and my kids sit in it!

Cheese! See my teeth?

Here's what Pax's teeth looked like only 2 1/2 weeks ago ...

And now they're much bigger! Especially the top ones!

He's very proud of them, too!

Ni-Nite Noah

Before Bennett goes down for a nap or bedtime, he feels the need to put his toys to bed. It usually ends up being his cars or his Little Noah's Ark People. He lays them all down and says "Ni-Nite No-wah". It's so cute!

Phil snapped this pic when he came back in from putting Bennett down the other day. They were all laying down asleep next to his milk cups.

I love that boy!

Howdy Partner!

What a GREAT present my parents gave to Bennett at Christmas!

A cowboy hat and a stick horse.

I can NOT tell you how much fun Bennett has playing with his horsey. And he CAN'T play with his horsey without his hat. It's required.

The funny thing is that he normally puts the hat on sideways, which makes him look like a pilgrim, but, hey, he's learning.

Bennett has learned to say, "Giid up hoh-sey" (Giddy-up horsey) and "How-dy Pahtnah" (Howdy Partner)!

And sometimes, when Bennett isn't looking, Pax plays with the horsey, too!

Happy Birthday to Jordan!

The same weekend we had Phil's mom's birthday party at our house, we also had my sister Jordan's too! It was a fun-filled, party weekend for us! Yay for cleaning, cooking and baking! :)

Jordan wanted a few of her favorites at her party, so we had pizza...

Matthew made Crab Cakes...

And my Mom made her homemade Macaroni and Cheese. Yum!!! A real healthy night!

It was SO not appropriate for Abby to be taking pics during the prayer, but she did. And she got this C-U-T-E pic of Bennett "peeking" during the prayer. Ha!

For her birthday cake, I made a homemade Dark Chocolate Chocolate Cake! Yummy!

Some party pics:

We even called my sister Molly over Skype to include her!

Speaking of Skype, Phil let the boys have some fun and play with the settings. It was hilarious!!

They had a blast!

Happy Birthday Jo!

Happy Birthday to Gram!

We celebrated Phil's mom's birthday last Sunday at our house. We had Phil's brother and sister-in-law, our niece Kylie, and nephew Cade, over to celebrate after church.

Of course Bennett LOVES Cade! What kid doesn't Bennett love... except his brother who's annoying to him sometimes. Guess that's normal.

I fixed a crockpot recipe since we'd be coming straight from church. It turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself! :) I made Chalupas! One thing about the Goodson family... they love their Mexican food!

Here's Phil's brother's family and Connie. Somehow we didn't get a pic of us and the birthday girl. :(

Phil was so sweet! He volunteered to make his mom's birthday dessert. That's a feat in itself since she's diabetic and is very limited in what she can eat. Phil researched and found some chocolate peanut butter balls made out of grape nuts, peanut butter, splenda, sugar-free chocolate shake mix, and maybe a couple other things. They turned out pretty great (for a diabetic dessert! ha!), but they were SO tiny! I guess that's how she was able to eat them. Anyway, it wasn't very easy to put a candle in a dessert like that, so we improvised.

Happy Birthday to Gram!
